SYNOPSIS FOR: Skate Kitchen
Skate Kitchen is a semi-biographical coming of age drama about a lonely suburban teenager whose life changes dramatically when she joins an all-girl skateboarding crew called Skate Kitchen based in New York City.
The group introduces Camille to the New York skateboarding subculture and she works hard to gain the respect of her new friends. Her mother, however, is not keen on her new friends and wants her to stop skateboarding.
No longer lonely, and feeling she can hold her own with the crew she begins to understand the true meaning of friendship.
